As a follow-up to my last post on the rhinestone snowflake buckles that we carry, here’s another idea for a DIY wedding reception table card for a winter wedding:
Just print the table card number on a piece of card stock, and trim it to size. Place 2 crossed ribbons through the back of the rhinestone snowflake buckle and glue the ribbon to the back of the card stock. You can use hot glue or Fabri-tac glue. I like the Fabri-tac because it dries quickly, and I don’t burn my fingers with hot glue.
Because the slider protrudes from the back of the buckle a little bit, you may have to cut a slit in the card stock if you want it to sit flush to the card. I didn’t do that on the one I made, and it was fine. Instead of cutting a slit, you could also stabilize the buckle slider part to the card with hot glue.
If you use this idea, be sure to send me photos-I would love to see them!
